PERSONAL REFLECTION

This journal of starting our own business with our partners it started good in the beginning because we made good progress in coming up with 20 community problems and then the planning our business plan. Then when it got to making out video for our business we didn’t really communicated so I end up doing the video for our business by myself but I also had some help from my English teacher.

BRAINSTORMING

The first step in this project is to brainstorm some problems in the community. You have to partner with another person in order to finish this project on time , also together can come up with amazing problems in the community. We were asked to have 20 community problems like you can see in the picture below that what my partner and came up with the problems in the community. Here is the whole presentation of our work.

SMALL BUSINESS PLAN

The next step of this project is to come up with one community problem to focus on. Also to fill in the a google doc that our teacher made for us and to tell her about the small business we are going to focus on. I felt like this step was hard because we don’t have any experience only making business so this was our first time and I know it was hard to do but my partner and I had some good ideas on the business. I might of took us a little bit longer than others but we end up finishing it and revising it before turning it into the teacher. ADVERTISEMENT

The other step of this project is to create a advertisement for our business. So one day I had to stay after school with my teacher in order to get an idea for what I need in my advertisement. After I finished my advertisement in one day I felt like I did a good job on the video for a person to do all the requirements in the advertisement. ELEVATOR PITCH

The final step of this project to convince an investor in our business that our idea is useful to them. Elevator Pitch is a brief speech about what you want the investor to convince how good your product is. I feel like our business is good because we don’t charge the people as much as other businesses. Our business is about removing graffiti from the community because everywhere you would go you will see graffiti on the building, playgrounds, sidewalks, and people’s property.
